SYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. You use your Groove account on multiple computers. You pause communications for instant messages and invitations on one of the computers. In this scenario, you may still receive new messages.CAUSEThis issue occurs because, when you use an account on multiple computers, each computer forwards messages to the other computers that use the same account. This synchronization is required to keep the message history of the multiple computers in the same state. Therefore, if your account is still receiving messages on another computer, you will receive these messages as part of this synchronization process. RESOLUTIONIf you want to stop receiving instant messages and invitations on one computer when you are logged on to Groove with the same account on other computers, you must pause communications for instant messages and invitations on all the computers.
