INTRODUCTION

This article describes the fact that you may not have access to the workspaces that you belonged to after the license that is associated with your account is revoked in Groove Workspace and in Groove Virtual Office.

MORE INFORMATION

If the Groove license that you use is owned and managed by another party, that party can revoke the license. After your license is revoked, you may not have access to the workspaces that you belonged to. Therefore, you cannot view your old data or log on to the Groove account.

The limitations that occur when the license is revoked depend on how the license owner managed the license and your device. The limitations also depend on whether you are uninvited from the workspaces at the time that the license is revoked.

Log on to Groove (if you can do this), and then check your workspaces list. To do this, follow these steps, as appropriate for the version of Groove that you are running:
  • In Groove Virtual Office 3.x, click the Workspaces tab in the Launchbar.
  • In Groove Workspace 2.x, click Go To, and then click My Spaces.
If the workspaces are no longer displayed in the list, there is no way for you to regain access to them. This is a security feature for the license owner.
