SYMPTOMS

When you send an e-mail thread from Lotus Notes to Groove, you may notice that some messages may be missing in the Groove Discussion tool.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the Notes Onramp in Groove requests the thread information from Lotus Notes. If the thread started in some other e-mail program, the thread information will be incomplete.

MORE INFORMATION

To see the messages that Lotus Notes identifies as part of the thread, use the Discussion Threads view in Lotus Notes.

To send all the messages in the thread to a Groove workspace, follow these steps:
  1. Select one message from the thread that is identified by Lotus Notes. Then, select all the messages that originated outside Lotus Notes. Make sure that a check mark appears next to each message.
  2. Click Actions, and then click Send to New Groove Workspace.

Note If you are using Groove Workspace 2.0, click Send to Groove.
