INTRODUCTION

This article describes how to maintain your workspace memberships when your Groove identity is moved from one Groove domain to another Groove domain.

MORE INFORMATION

To work with your Groove administrator to convert your Groove identity to a managed identity in the new domain, follow these steps:
  1. The administrator of your new Groove domain sends you a device management registry key. This key establishes your computer as a managed device in the new domain.
  2. Double-click the registry file to run it.
  3. The Groove administrator creates an identity with the name that you want, and then sends that identity and an activation code to you. The new identity name can be the same as the name that you currently use.
  4. On the Groove Help menu, click Activate Product, and then type the activation code.
  5. When you are prompted, accept the option to convert your current identity. Your new identity will assume all the shared space memberships of your old identity.
