The automatic upgrade prompt that is triggered by Groove when you add a Groove Workspace tool or a Groove Virtual Office tool into an older workspace does not work for a Groove 1.1 member (916351)

SYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario. You add a Groove Workspace tool or a Groove Virtual Office tool
to a workspace. However, a Groove 1.1 user is a member of the workspace to which you added the tool.
Because you added the tool, the Groove 1.1 user receives a prompt to upgrade their version of Groove. The user clicks Yes in the prompt to upgrade their version of Groove. However, the user's version of Groove is not updated.CAUSEThis problem occurs because of a limitation in Groove 1.1. This problem cannot be resolved by later versions of Groove.WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, have the Groove 1.1 user
manually upgrade their version of Groove from one of the following locations: - the Groove Web
site
