INTRODUCTION

When you view the version information for a Groove account, the version information that appears in the Groove Management Server differs from the version information that appears on the client. However, the build numbers are the same for both.

For example, you see Groove version 3.0c.2206 on the client. However, you see Groove version 3,0,4,2206 in the Groove Management Server.

MORE INFORMATION

This difference between the version information occurs because the Groove version field on the Member Information page of the Groove Management Server retrieves data for the version information from a .dll file. Therefore, the Groove Management Server does not display the release update letter that you see when you view the version information in About Groove in the client's Help menu. As long as the build numbers match, the versions are the same.

Note The build numbers consist of the final four digits of the version information.
