SYMPTOMSVisitors to a Web page may see XML code when they try to open a Groove
invitation file on the Web page.CAUSEThis issue occurs when the MIME types on the Web server
are not set to recognize .grv files.
Groove invitation files are stored as .grv
files. When the MIME types are not set to recognize .grv files, Microsoft Internet Explorer
displays the invitation file as XML code instead of calling the local Groove
application to run the file.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, you must enable visitors to open
an invitation from the Web page. To do this, add the following entry to the Web
server's MIME types: .grv:
