How to delete an identity in Groove (916319)

You can delete an identity from your Groove account.

Note When you delete an identity, you are no longer a member of any workspace to which you were invited as that identity. Additionally, those workspaces are deleted from the computer.

To delete an identity from your Groove account in Groove Virtual Office, follow these steps:

1. On the Options menu, click Preferences, click the Identities tab, and then click the identity that you want to delete.
2. To delete the identity's directory listings, click No Listing under List me in for both directories, and then click OK. If you omit this step, your deleted identity may continue to be listed in the directories.
3. Make sure that the identity that you want to delete is selected, and then click Delete.

To delete an identity from your Groove account in Groove Workspace, follow these steps:

1. Click Go To, click My Identities, and then click the identity that you want to delete.
2. To delete the identity's directory listings, click No Listing under List me in for both directories, and then click OK. If you omit this step, your deleted identity may continue to be listed in the directories.
3. Make sure that the identity that you want to delete is selected, and then click Delete.
