SYMPTOMS

When you try to fax a document in Microsoft Word 2004 for Mac, the document prints to the default printer.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if the Word 2004 for Mac document contains a Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) macro that uses the FilePrint command.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, download and install the most recent update for Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac. To obtain the most recent update, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
