SYMPTOMS

When you accept an activity from a queue in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, the owner of the activity does not change to your user account. To change the owner to your user account, you must assign the activity to yourself and then accept the activity.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft CRM 3.0 that contains this hotfix.

Installation information

Removal information

Use Add or Remove programs in Control Panel to remove this hotfix.
