SYMPTOMSWhen you try to change the Authentication trusted setting in the BizTalk Administration Console for a BizTalk host, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 and in BizTalk Server 2004: This service account logon is
already used by another BizTalk Host
instance with a different authentication
trusted setting. The same logon cannot
be used by both trusted and non-trusted
BizTalk Hosts. Specify a different
logon. CAUSEThis issue occurs if the BizTalkServerApplication and the BizTalkServerIsolatedUser host instances are configured to use the same logon identity.WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, use one of the following methods.Method 1: Delete and then re-create a host instanceTo work around this issue, delete one of the host instances that uses the logon identity. Change the Authentication trusted setting for the remaining host that uses the logon identity. Then re-create the host instance that you deleted, and configure the new host instance with the appropriate Authentication trusted setting.Method 2: Modify the identity for a hostTo work around this issue, change the logon identity for one of the host instances, modify the Authentication trusted setting for both hosts, and then restore the original logon identity for the host instance that you changed.STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
