You can delete multiple instant messages in one operation in Groove by using the standard Microsoft Windows multiple selection methods.

To delete a contiguous set of messages, follow these steps:

Click the first message that you want to delete.
Go down the list to the last message that you want to delete.
Press and hold SHIFT, and then click the last message. The whole set of messages is selected.
Press DELETE.

To delete messages that are not contiguous, follow these steps:

Press and hold CTRL, and then click each message that you want to delete.
When all the messages that you want to delete are selected, press DELETE.

Note You can also use this method to cancel the selection of individual messages in a selected set.
