SYMPTOMS

You try to view a Groove Task Manager or Groove Project Manager report that you saved as XML in the Netscape Browser. When you do this, one of the following issues may occur, depending on the version of the Netscape Browser that you are using:
  • In Netscape 6.2, all the text from the report is displayed in a single string.
  • In Netscape 7.x, you receive the following error message:
Error loading style sheet: Parsing a XSLT style sheet failed.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because the formatting for the XML file that you created from the Task Manager or the Project Manager tool is not interpreted correctly by the Netscape Browser.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, you must manually open the file from Internet Explorer. Do this by using the Open command on the File menu in Internet Explorer.

If you have XML files that are configured to open with the Netscape Browser, you may want to change the files so that they are configured to open with Internet Explorer. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Open Windows Explorer or My Computer.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
  3. Click the File Types tab, scroll down to XML, and then click XML.
  4. Under Details for 'XML' extension, click Change.
  5. Select Internet Explorer from the list in the Open With dialog box, and then click OK.
Note When you set Internet Explorer to be your default browser, this configuration does not change unless you follow these steps. Similarly, when you change this configuration, the Netscape Browser continues to be your default browser for HTML Web pages.
