MORE INFORMATION

To remove a computer from the list of computers that are associated with your Groove account in Groove Virtual Office, follow these steps:
  1. In Groove, click Preferences on the Options menu, and then click the Account tab.
  2. Select the computer that you want to remove in the list at the bottom of the box, and then click Remove Computer.
To remove an inactive computer from the list of computers that are associated with your Groove account in Groove Workspace, follow these steps:
  1. In Groove, click Go To, and then click My Computers.
  2. Select the computer that you want to remove, and then click Remove Computer. If the computer is still active, its status is Ready and the Remove Computer option is unavailable.
A computer is considered inactive when one of the following conditions is true:
  • Sixty days have elapsed since the last time the account was opened on that computer.
  • Groove has marked the computer as "unsynchronized."
Note After you remove a computer from Groove Virtual Office or from Groove Workspace, back up your account before you import the account to any other computers. If you use an old account file, the file includes information about the computers that you removed.
