You cannot set permissions to prevent members of the workspace from viewing the folder or the contents of the folder in the Files tool in Groove (915611)

INTRODUCTION

You can set permissions for specific folders in the Files tool in Groove. However, you cannot set permissions to prevent members of the workspace from viewing the folder or the contents of the folder.

In the Files tool, you can set permissions at the folder level. Therefore, you can restrict some actions. Examples of the actions that you can restrict at the folder level are the Delete Folder and Modify Files options for particular roles. To do this, follow these steps:

Right-click the folder, click Properties, and then click the Permissions tab.
Select a role, and then click to clear or click to select the permissions for that role. The following is a list of the available roles:
- Manager
- Participant
- Guest

Note All members of a workspace can view all files and tools in that workspace. If you have content that you that you do not want certain members to view, create an additional workspace and invite only those members that should view the content.
