You cannot add new Groove tools, open Groove invitations, or import Groove contacts by using links in your Web browser. Unknown File Type
This issue does not occur in Internet Explorer.

CAUSE

Your Web browser does not handle Groove Contact vCard files (.vcg) or injectable (.grv) files correctly.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue if you are using Netscape Navigator, upgrade to version 7.0 or a to later version. If you are using another browser, report the problem to the browser developers, and then use the following workaround:
  1. Right-click the link, and then click Save File.
  2. Select a location on the hard disk drive for the file, and then click Save.
  3. Start Windows Explorer, locate the file, and then double-click the file.
