INTRODUCTION

This article describes how to copy a Microsoft Outlook message attachment to Groove Virtual Office or to Groove Workspace.

MORE INFORMATION

To copy an Outlook message attachment to a Groove Files tool, use one of the following methods.

Method 1: Drag the file into Groove

  1. Drag the attachment from the Outlook message to the Groove Files tool.

Method 2: Paste the file into Groove

  1. Right-click the attachment, click Save As, and then specify a destination folder.
  2. Open the folder in which you saved the file, right-click the file, and then click Copy.
  3. In the Groove Files tool, right-click in the folder area, and then click Paste.

Method 3: Use the "Add File" command

  1. Right-click the attachment, click Save As, and then specify a destination folder.
  2. In the Groove Files tool, click Add File, open the folder in which you saved the file, and then click the file. Then, click either OK or Open.
Note If any one of these methods fails and causes a zero-byte file, you are most likely using an old workspace. To resolve this issue, upgrade to the latest version of Groove.
