SYMPTOMSWhen you use a Browse Together session together with other
workspace members in Groove Workspace and in Groove Virtual Office, the workspace members may be able to open files from a viewed Web page on your computer.
CAUSEThis problem occurs if you previously selected the Never ask me again option when you were prompted to open a file of the same type.WORKAROUNDTo prevent this problem, modify
the File Types settings to restore the prompt for this file type. To do this, follow these steps: - In Microsoft Windows Explorer, click Folder Options on the Tools menu.
- Click the File Types tab.
- Select the file type, and then click Advanced.
- Click to select the Confirm open after download check box, and then click OK.
MORE INFORMATION When a user in a Browse Together session
clicks a link to a file, the Web Browser Tool examines the local file type settings to determine whether to prompt the user before the browser opens the file. If you previously selected the Never ask me again option when you
opened a particular type of file, the file will also open without prompting in
this scenario.
