You cannot schedule items on Saturday or on Sunday in the Task Manager tool or in the Project Manager tool in Groove (915531)

SYMPTOMS

You cannot schedule items on Saturday or on Sunday in the Task Manager tool in Groove Virtual Office or in the Project Manager tool in Groove Workspace.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because the Task Manager tool and the Project Manager tool do not recognize Saturday and Sunday as possible work days. There are no plans to add this functionality to these tools.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, use the TeamDirection Project tool. With this tool, you can schedule weekend assignments. Additionally, this tool displays more calendar views and has other, more detailed features.

Note The TeamDirection Project tool is available in Groove Virtual Office Project Edition.
