SYMPTOMSWhen two people change the same agenda item in the Meetings tool in Groove Virtual Office or in Groove Workspace, the last change overwrites the first change.CAUSEThis issue occurs because the Meetings tool does not test for conflicting edits. In the Meetings tool, editing the agenda is assumed to be the role of a particular attendee. Adding conflict tests to the Meetings tool would make it significantly slower without adding value to the typical use of the tool.MORE INFORMATIONIn the Discussion tool, a member who has the correct user rights (by default, a manager) can also overwrite the original entry. The edit function in the Discussion tool is provided so that items can be corrected. Typically, other members would add content in a response.
