INTRODUCTIONThis article describes how Groove sets time stamps for a file that is added to the Files tool.MORE INFORMATIONWhen you add a file to the Files tool in Groove, the file is no longer linked to the file in the Microsoft Windows file system. Groove sets the Created time stamp to the current date and time. However, Groove preserves the Last Modified time stamp of the file.
Until you open the file from Groove, modify the file, and save the modified file back to Groove, the Files tool will display the Last Modified time stamp that Windows Explorer showed for the file at the time that you imported the file. After you save the modified file to Groove, the new Last Modified time stamp is displayed in the Files tool.
