SYMPTOMS
Consider the following scenario:
- You run Microsoft Commerce Server 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3) and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3) on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (SP4).
- You upgrade the computer from SQL Server 2000 SP3 to SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 4 (SP4).
- You try to run the Campaign Data Import Data Transformation Services (DTS) task.
In this scenario, the Campaign Data Import DTS task fails. Additionally, the following event is logged in the event log:

RESOLUTION
Hotfix information
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article.
