HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Plugins\Extension HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Plugins\MIME RESOLUTIONWarning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk. To resolve this issue, remove the corrupted registry subkeys. The registry subkeys will be recreated. To remove the registry subkeys, follow these steps: - Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
- Locate the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Plugins\Extension - Expand Extension.
- Right-click each subkey under the Extension subkey, and then click Delete.
- Locate the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Plugins\MIME - Expand MIME.
- Right-click each subkey under the MIME subkey, and then click Delete.
- Exit Registry Editor.
- Restart the computer.
