Error messages when you exit Groove after you change data in the Calendar tool in Groove Workspace: "Invalid Access to Memory Location" and "Groove Critical Error" (914755)

SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:

You use Groove Workspace 2.1 or an earlier version of Groove on Microsoft Windows NT. You have synchronization to Outlook turned on in the Groove Calendar tool. You then change data in the Calendar tool.

When you then exit Groove, you receive the following error message:
Invalid Access to Memory Location.
When you click OK, you receive the following error message:
Groove Critical Error: Groove encountered an internal error and is unable to continue. Please restart Groove.
However, the synchronization to Outlook still works correctly.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, upgrade to the current version of Groove.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Groove Workspace 2.0 and in Groove Workspace 2.1. This problem was corrected in Groove Workspace 2.5.
