SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You start a SharePoint Team Services logon window from Groove Workspace 2.5, and you submit the logon information. When you try to exit Groove before the logon process is completed, the Groove.exe program cannot exit. If you try to start Groove again, it does not start.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use one of the following methods:
  • Use Task Manager to exit the Groove.exe program.
  • Cancel the logon window instead of submitting the unnecessary logon information.

MORE INFORMATION

This problem does not occur in Groove Virtual Office. However, the Groove.exe program still cannot exit as long as the logon window it opened remains open. This is typical Microsoft Windows behavior. If you have started a SharePoint Team Services logon from Groove, you must complete the logon process or cancel the logon process for Groove to exit.
