INTRODUCTION

This article describes how changes to your default profile in Microsoft Outlook affect the synchronization of items between Groove and Outlook.

MORE INFORMATION

If the following conditions are true, you can set Groove to automatically synchronize with Outlook:
  • You have multiple Outlook profiles on the system.
  • You have set the Always use this profile option for only one of the Outlook profiles.
However, when you use a new default Outlook profile, new entries in Groove are sent to this new default Outlook profile. This behavior occurs even if you set the Always use this profile for a different Outlook profile. This behavior occurs because Groove recognizes that the active Outlook profile is not the profile to which preexisting entries were originally sent. Therefore, preexisting entries in Groove and any changes that you make to preexisting entries in Groove are not sent to Outlook.
