INTRODUCTIONThis
article describes how
Groove Virtual Office and Groove Workspace synchronize
images from the Calendar tool and Meetings tool with Microsoft
Outlook.MORE INFORMATIONIn the Groove Calendar tool, you can paste an image into the
Details field of an entry. Groove will try to send the image
to Outlook when Groove synchronizes with the Outlook calendar. This
functionality works with Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 and with Microsoft
Outlook 2002 but not with Microsoft Outlook 2000. However, if an image cannot
be synchronized, other data is not affected.
In the Groove Meetings
tool, you can paste an image into the Details field of an
entry. Because meeting entries in Outlook support only text, Groove will not
try to send the image to Outlook. Instead, Groove sends a placeholder to show
that data is unavailable. This placeholder appears as
a question mark in some versions of Outlook and
as a dot in some versions of Outlook.
