SYMPTOMS

When you try to publish events from either the Groove Calendar tool or the Groove Meetings tool to Microsoft Outlook for the first time, you receive the following error message:
Microsoft Outlook: Either there is no default mail client, or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client.

CAUSE

This issue occurs when you do not use Outlook as your default e-mail client.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, click OK when you receive the message. The events will be published to the Outlook calendar.
