INTRODUCTIONThis article describes the support that is available when you send invitations by using AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) in Groove Workspace 2.5 or Groove Virtual Office.MORE INFORMATIONAOL Instant Messenger 4.x differs significantly from AOL Instant Messenger 5.0 in the way that contacts are presented.
When AOL Instant Messenger 4.x is present and contains contacts, the Invite
by AIM option is available when you send an invitation from Groove Workspace 2.5. However, this option is unavailable in AOL Instant Messenger 5.0.
In either case, the AOL Instant Messenger
user can accept Groove invitations that are sent by using AOL Instant Messenger.
Groove Virtual Office
does not have direct support for AOL Instant Messenger. However, Groove Virtual Office does let you add Jabber
contacts.
