SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You are using Microsoft Office 97. Then, you try to open a Microsoft Word document from the Groove Document Review tool. In this scenario, you cannot open the Word document from the Groove Document Review tool.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install Microsoft Office 97 Service Release 2 (SR2).

This issue may also occur if you are using Microsoft Word 97 with any version of Microsoft Office. In this scenario, if you try to open a Word document from the Groove Document Review tool in Word 97, you may receive one of the following error messages:

The message filter indicated that the application is busy (HRESULT: 0x8001010A)

Cannot open macro storage (HRESULT: 0x800A175D)

Word cannot open the existing [square] (HRESULT: 0x800A142D)
