A Discussion tool entry remains marked as unread after you edit it in Groove Workspace 2.1 or in an earlier version of Groove (914708)

SYMPTOMS

A Discussion tool entry remains marked as unread after you edit it in Groove Workspace 2.1 or in an earlier version of Groove.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, manually mark the Discussion tool entry as read. To prevent this problem, upgrade to Groove Workspace 2.5 or a later version of Groove.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Groove Workspace 2.1. This problem was first fixed in Groove Workspace 2.5.

MORE INFORMATION

In Groove versions that are earlier than Groove Workspace 2.5, if you open, edit, and save a Discussion entry and then move to another entry, the edited entry is not marked as read within five seconds.
