Error message after you restart the computer when you install Groove Workspace: "ClassFactory cannot supply requested class" (914619)

SYMPTOMS

When you restart the computer after you install Groove Workspace, you receive the following error message:
ClassFactory cannot supply requested class

CAUSE

This issue occurs if the following conditions are true:
  • You use an account that has the required permissions to install Groove Workspace.
  • You use a different account to log on to Windows after you restart the computer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, make sure that you use the same account to install Groove Workspace and to log on to Windows after you restart the computer. Make sure the account is in the local administrators group.
