INTRODUCTIONThis article describes editing
conflicts and version
control in Groove Virtual Office and in Groove Workspace.MORE INFORMATIONThe Groove Files tool saves conflicting versions of a file if two or more
members of a workspace change the same file.
Additionally, the
Groove Files tool provides
a co-edit function for controlled, collaborative editing of Microsoft Word
documents.
However, the co-edit function does
not track versions. To track versions, use the Groove Document Review tool. The
Document Review tool lets the workspace member who installed the tool initiate a review cycle of a document or a document set. Additionally, the Document Review tool lets the member track and merge
reviewers' changes through multiple review cycles.
