SYMPTOMS
When you try to switch to the Neural Network mining model in
the Microsoft Neural Network Viewer, you receive the following error message translated in
English:
Type conflict. Execution of the managed
stored procedure GetAttributeScores failed with the following error:
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.
Microsoft::AnalysisServices::AdomdServer::AdomdException
Notes- The Neural Network Viewer is a component of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services.
- The problem occurs on non-English versions of SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services.
RESOLUTION
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services service pack that contains this hotfix.
