FIX: The Bluetooth stack that is on a Windows CE 5.0-based device may stop responding (913683)

SYMPTOMS

If a remote Bluetooth host stops responding, the Bluetooth stack that is on a Microsoft Windows CE 5.0-based device may stop responding.

Note To recover, you may have to reset the device.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when the Bluetooth host controller interface (HCI) pending packets are not decremented upon disconnect. When the total number of pending packets reaches the buffer limit, all future connections are blocked.

Prerequisites

This update is supported only if all previous updates for this product are also installed.

Restart requirement

After you install this update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To clean the platform, click Clean on the Build menu. To build the platform, click Build Platform on the Build menu. You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this update.
