SYMPTOMSWhen you import data from a comma separated values (CSV)
file into a form by using the Groove Virtual Office 3.1 Forms tool, the data
appears in the record. However, the appropriate list items are not
selected.
When you open a record by using the Forms
tool, values must exist in each field for the fields to display the values.
If each field does not contain a value, the data appears in the record.
However, the appropriate list items are not selected. If you click
Update before you correct this situation, the fields are
cleared.WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, perform one of the following actions:
- Add a lookup to each field.
- Modify the field property options to add the values to the
field.
Note To use these workarounds, you must use a Groove Virtual Office
edition that enables you to modify forms. If you are using Groove Virtual
Office 3.1 Trial Edition, and the trial period has expired, these workarounds
require Groove Virtual Office 3.1 Professional Edition or Groove Virtual Office
3.1 Project Edition.
