The Microsoft Office Keyboard is not an available option on the Select Keyboard screen when you try to install the IntelliType Pro 5.2 software (913407)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to install the Microsoft IntelliType Pro 5.2 software, the Setup program prompts you to select a keyboard. However, the Microsoft Office Keyboard is not an available option on the Select Keyboard screen.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because Microsoft IntelliType Pro 5.0 software is the last version to support the Microsoft Office Keyboard.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, follow these steps:
  1. Visit the following Microsoft Download Center Web site:

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads

  2. In the Search box, type IntelliType 5, and then click Go.
  3. Download and then install IntelliType Pro 5.0.
