SYMPTOMSWhen you forward multiple e-mail messages in Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, multiple signatures are added to the e-mail messages.CAUSEThis behavior may occur when the following conditions are true: - You created a signature for new e-mail messages.
- You created a signature for e-mail messages that you reply to or forward.
- You selected the Rich Text option in the Compose in this message format list.
- You forwarded more than one e-mail message at the same time.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this behavior, use Microsoft Office Word 2003 as your e-mail editor. To do this, follow these steps: - Start Outlook 2003.
- On the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Mail Format tab.
- Click to select the Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages check box.
- Click OK to close the Options dialog box.
