SYMPTOMSYou create a custom e-mail template for an account in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. The template uses an account name placeholder in the Subject and Body fields. The placeholder text is enclosed in angle brackets (< >). When you create a new e-mail message for an account by using the custom e-mail template, the text in the Subject or Body fields is truncated.
For example, if you type City Power & <Light> for the account name, the resulting e-mail message will have Subject or Body fields that say City Power &.WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, insert a space immediately following the left angle bracket (<).STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
