SYMPTOMSWhen you start Microsoft Dungeon Siege II, the screen turns black.CAUSEThis behavior occurs when Norton Security Center is running.RESOLUTIONMethod 1: Disable Norton Security CenterTo resolve this behavior, disable Norton Security Center before you start Dungeon Siege II. To do this, right-click the Norton Security Center icon in the notification area, and then click Disable. Method 2: Configure the game by using DS2VideoConfig- Click Start, point to All Programs, click Dungeon Siege, and then click DS2VideoConfig.
- In the Video card section, select Primary Display Driver - Hardware TnL.
- In the Resolution section, select 800X600.
- In the Shadows section, select No Shadows.
- Click OK, and then start the game.
