SYMPTOMSAfter you deploy a Microsoft Windows XP-based Sysprep image, you may notice the following issues: - Network adapter settings that are set before you capture the Sysprep image are missing. Examples of these settings include network names and service set identifiers (SSIDs).
- Custom hardware profiles that enable or disable devices are missing or have been reset.
CAUSEThis issue occurs because the Sysprep tool must reset certain hardware-specific settings or profiles before it deploys a Sysprep image to a new computer.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, you have to reconfigure the network adapter settings and the hardware profiles after you deploy the Sysprep image.
