Event ID 7023 is logged in the System log when you uninstall Services for NFS on a Windows Server 2003 R2-based computer (912449)

SYMPTOMS
When you uninstall Microsoft Services for Network File System (NFS) on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2-based computer, an Error event that is similar to the following is logged in the System log:

Description:
The Server for NFS service terminated with the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, stop the Server for NFS service before you uninstall NFS. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.
- Right-click Server for NFS, and then click Stop.
