The Date field is incorrect when you use the Lcsarchexport.exe tool from the Live Communications Server Service Pack 1 Resource Kit to export the original conversation date of an e-mail message (912311)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 Enterprise Edition
- Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 Standard Edition
SYMPTOMSYou
use the Lcsarchexport.exe tool that
is available from the
Microsoft
Office Live Communications Server Service Pack 1 Resource Kit
to export the original conversation date of an e-mail message. However, the Date field of this exported e-mail message is not the date of the archived Instant Messaging (IM) conversation.CAUSEThis issue occurs because of limitations with the system.mail namespace. You
must
provide extra headers so
that
Independent Software Vendors (ISV) partners
can index the original conversation date of the e-mail message that is
stored in Microsoft SQL Server.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, install version 2.0.5470.138 of the Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 with Service Pack 1 Resource Kit. Then, add the following custom headers to the exported e-mail message: X-MS-YEAR-ONLY: 2005
X-MS-MONTH-ONLY: 1
X-MS-DAY-ONLY: 24
X-MS-HOUR-ONLY: 19 //IN MILITARY HOURS
X-MS-MINUTE-ONLY: 29
X-MS-SECOND-ONLY: 9
