Xbox 360: Error message when you try to sign in to Xbox Live: "Some profiles could not be signed into Xbox Live. There may be network problems." (912277)

SYMPTOMSWhen you try to sign in to your Xbox Live account on an Xbox 360 console, you receive the following error message:
Some profiles could not be signed into Xbox Live. There may be network problems. CAUSEThis issue occurs when the account that you are trying to sign in to is invalid because the account has been recovered on a different Xbox 360 console.THINGS TO TRY- Recover your account, and then overwrite the profile on the Xbox 360 console.
Note An update was released and slipstreamed to all Xbox Dashboard users. Most of the time, you will not overwrite any saved games when you follow these steps.
Important Make sure that you keep the "bad" profile on the Xbox 360 console when you try to recover the profile. Do not delete this profile.- Press the Guide button.
- Select Recover Gamertag from Xbox Live.
- Enter the gamertag of the account that you want to recover.
- Enter the Windows Live ID credentials (the e-mail address and password that you use to sign in to Windows Live ID).
- When you receive a message that states that the profile is already on the HDD/MU and asks if you want to replace the profile, select Yes.
You can now sign in, access the account management options, and play games.
