SYMPTOMS
After you upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, entities that reference attribute names that contain extended characters are no longer customizable. Additionally, these entities cannot be used for import operations. After you upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, you may receive the following warning message:
Warning: Detected custom attributes with unsupported characters in the logical name.

RESOLUTION
To resolve these problems, install the Microsoft CRM Attribute Rename Tool that is provided in this hotfix package.

Installation information
Install this hotfix on computers that are running Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 server. This hotfix puts the following files in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft CRM\Tools folder:
- Attributerename.sql
- Attributerenametool.exe
