Xbox 360: Voice communication does not function correctly on Xbox Live (911932)

SYMPTOMSWhen you use voice communication on Xbox Live, you experience the following symptoms:
- You can talk to some players but not others.
- You hear an echo.
CAUSETypically, this behavior occurs because of a Network Address Translation (NAT) issue or because of the way that the Family Settings are configured for voice communications.THINGS TO TRY- Verify that the Family Settings are configured correctly for voice communications. To do this, follow these steps:
- Press the Guide button.
- In the System section, select Family Settings.
- Select the voice settings that you want to apply to your console and to your Xbox Live accounts.
- Verify the NAT setting. To do this, follow these steps:
- In the System section of the Xbox Dashboard, select Network Settings.
- Select Test Xbox Live Connection.
- After the system has completed the tests, select More Info next to NAT to learn more about the NAT settings.
