Additional freight and tax charges are added to a Microsoft CRM batch that is integrated into a batch in Microsoft Great Plains (911842)

SYMPTOMSConsider the following scenario: - You submit an order in Microsoft Business Solutions - CRM.
- The order contains a freight value.
- The Microsoft CRM batch is integrated into a Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains batch.
When the Microsoft CRM batch is intergrated, an additional freight and tax charge is added. WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, use one of the following methods. Method 1: Print a sales batch edit list Print a sales batch edit list in Microsoft Great Plains. When you use this method, the batch will be reconciled to the sales order transactions. Additionally, the Batch Edit List report will be printed.
To print the edit list, follow these steps: - Start Microsoft Great Plains.
- On the Transactions menu, point to Sales, and then click Sales Batches.
- Click Lookup next to BatchID, and then click to select the sales order batch that was created from Microsoft CRM. The sales order batch job name should be similar to CRM08292005A.
- On the File menu, click Print.
- Click Edit list, and then select a destination for the report.
- Click OK.
Method 2: Run the Check Links processRun the Check Links process in Microsoft Great Plains. When you use this method, the Check Links process reconciles the sales transaction amounts and the sales batch total amount. - Start Microsoft Great Plains.
- On the File menu, click Maintenance.
- Click Check Links.
- Click Sales Series, and then click Sales Work Logical Tables.
- Click Insert.
- Click OK.
