CAUSEThis issue occurs if the SQL Server 2000 cluster
is not correctly configured.RESOLUTIONTo
resolve this issue, follow these steps to create a
dependency for the shared cluster disk. Note When
you add a shared
cluster disk as a dependency to SQL Server, the
shared cluster disk must reside in the same group as the SQL Server resources
in Cluster Administrator. - Start
Cluster Administrator.
- Make sure that the shared cluster disk resides in the same group as the SQL Server resources.
Note To
move a shared cluster disk to the
group in which the SQL Server resources reside, right-click the shared cluster disk that you want to move, and then click Move Group. - Right-click the SQL Server resource, and then click
Bring Offline to bring the resource into an Offline state.
- Right-click the SQL Server resource, and then click
Properties.
- Click the Dependencies tab.
- Click Add to add the shared
cluster disk to the dependencies list for that
resource.
- Bring the SQL Server resource back online, and then put
the SQL Server files on the
