Custom saved queries do not load correctly in the "Advanced Find" feature in Microsoft Dynamics CRM (911411)

SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Dynamics CRM:
  1. You create a custom entity in a non-production environment.
  2. In the Advanced Find feature, you create custom saved queries that refer to the custom entity that you created in step 1.
  3. You export the customizations.
  4. You import the customizations into a production environment.
  5. You try to open the custom saved queries in the Advanced Find feature in the production environment.
In this scenario, the custom saved queries do not load correctly.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if the objecttypecode parameter in the production environment does not match the objecttypecode parameter in the non-production environment. The objecttypecode parameter is part of the custom entity.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
