INTRODUCTION

Microsoft Small Business Accounting 2006 does not offer a check register report. This article describes how to create a report that is similar to a check register report.

To create a report that is similar to a check register report in Microsoft Small Business Accounting 2006, follow these steps:
  1. On the Reports menu, point to Banking, and then click one of the following commands:
    • To print a report of bank transactions, click Bank Transactions.
    • To print a report of checks, click Check Detail.
    • To print a report of deposits, click Deposit Detail.
  2. In the Bank Account list, click the checking account for which you want to print the report.
  3. In the Data Range field, specify the date range for the report.
  4. If you want to sort the report, click the field by which you want to sort in the Sort Report Groups by field. For example, click Date, click Name, or click Amount.

    Note By default, reports are sorted by date.
  5. On the View menu, click Refresh Report.
  6. On the File menu, click Print. The Print dialog box appears.
  7. In the Name field, click the printer to which you want to print.
  8. Click OK.
